Salvador

Landhuis De Wieden

This characteristic charming residential farm is located near the Wieden nature reserve in Wanneperveen. The renovated farm is located on a plot of nearly 9000m2, consisting of a garden, meadow and forests. The home is very spacious and luxuriously furnished and has a wellness and relaxation room with a sauna and hot tub. From the back of the farm you have a beautiful wide view of the lands and water toward the beautiful nature area around Giethoorn. The Weerribben-Wieden national park at the top of Overijssel is certainly worth a visit. It is the largest continuous low fen marsh in north-western Europe with many flora and fauna. Get on your bike, in the boat or put on your walking shoes and explore the forest, reed and water landscapes which are plentiful in this region. Characteristic Giethoorn is about 8 km away in is known for its many small canals, bridges and picturesque farms. Giethoorn also has a great deal of recreation and relaxation to offer. The wider area also offers a great deal of pleasure, such as the old fortified town of Steenwijk, with many canals and city walls. The town of Meppel, with its rich commercial past is certainly worth a visit. There are many monumental buildings and the Great Church with its 15th century towers.

Klipper Aldebaran

The Aldebaran was built in 1893 in Geertruidenberg as a two-mast river clipper. The ship transported freight in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium until 1940. In 1954 it was fitted with an engine. In 1991 the owners Willem van Gelderen and Moniek van der Werff have renovated the Aldebaran, in a traditional style combined with an atmospheric, comfortable interior. In wintertime 2010-2011, the owners rebuild almost everything. And now,the ship is more comfortable, with 9 sleepingrooms and 7 bathrooms en suite, floorheating and lockable room doors. But there is still the same traditional style and atmosphere. The kitchen is tasteful and well equipped. The deck is easily accessible with a safe and spacious seating area. The welcoming crew will try to make every stay unforgettable by fulfilling their guests' wishes. During your stay the ship will be anchored in the Leuvehaven harbour of Rotterdam.

This superb ground-floor holiday apartment measures 120 m2 and is located within a Venetian villa ("Villa Veneta") dating back to the XVI century. The villa is situated in Este, just 200m from the charming old town. The first floor of this historic building, with its antique furniture and frescos may be rented for weddings, conferences and other important events. The ground floor on the other hand is split into two independent apartments. Guests may also explore the 6000 m2 of gardens surrounding the building, a haven of rest and relaxation. This holiday apartment with its exquisite architecture and historic attributes is the perfect place for a cultural get-away. This Veneto villa (lovingly referred to as "Vigna Contarena"), dates back to the XVI century and was founded by the noble Venetian Contarini family, who also owned vineyards in the area (hence the name of the villa, which means Contarini Vineyard).
