Stay on an inland vessel from 1901 in the midst of the centre of Amsterdam! Previously, this ship transported goods on the rivers and canals of the Netherlands. Completely and attractively furnished, this lovely bood welcomes tourists to explore all of the sights of Amsterdam only a stone?s throw away. The boot is moored in the Nieuwmarkt, previously a Jewish district. The Scale is characteristic of the Nieuwmarkt. This looks like a medieval fort, but was previously one of the city gates. Saint Anthony?s Gate. Within the round towers you can still see bullet holes from 1500! The atmosphere is very cozy and furnished with a lot of art. Everything is present in the apartment for a comfortable stay; a spacious light lounge with double glass and a beautiful wood floor, private bathroom and a a tasty and healthy breakfast in the morning! The family has a rural shop and a beekeeper/candle business where you can go on appointment. In walking distance you in the Loosdrecht places, where you can sail wonderfully (boats for hire within 1km) and even the lovely towns of the Gooi are worth a visit. Even Hilversum, Naarden (-fortress), Laren, Utrecht and Amsterdam are close by. An ideal starting point!

This unique, compact, detached house is situated in the landlords garden, on the edge of the Nieuw Bussumer heath, between Naarden and Huizen, in the middle of the region know as Gooi. The interior is simply furnished but very cosy and attractive. Sitting room with French doors to the patio with garden furniture.

Van Vuure

You will find this comfortable group accommodation in a 'stolp' farmhouse (domed roof) in rural south-east Beemster. All bedrooms in the house have en-suite bathrooms and TV. The long dining table in the spacious kitchen invites cosy, long meals. The Beemster is listed as a UNESCO world heritage since 1999, in particular for its unique landscape. A trip through this region with its straight roads is a must. The rural region is perfect for beautiful walks and cycling trips, but you can also explore the region from the numerous waterways. Cities like Amsterdam and Alkmaar are only a thirty minutes' drive away. The centre of Purmerend is at a few kilometres. The typical towns Medemblik, Hoorn and Enkhuizen are located around the Jjssel lake. The IJssel lake is perfect for all types of aquatic recreational activities. Pay also a visit to Zaanse Schans (12km) or historic Volendam (16km).
