Beautiful, picturesque stuga (Swedish cottage) well situated amid the splendid natural scenery of Central Sweden north of Dalarna. Ideal to cool your beer in the running water and enjoy a well-deserved barbecue or sit round the pleasant fire. Just to the south of Särna is Mickeltemplet, where there?s a ski centre and cross-country trails. There are even more winter sport areas just a half-hour drive away, such as Idrefjäll and Fjätervålen, with good skiing options and many lovely cross-country trails. In addition to downhill and cross-country skiing, there are plenty of other good things to experience, such as a husky safari, snowshoeing, going ice fishing, horseback riding or taking a trip on a snowmobile!
