Hollinger

Holiday home Hollinger is located in a pretty and quiet area at 1000m altitude. The holiday accommodation consists of 4 comfortable and fully equipped holiday apartments. Your apartment is approx. 39 m2 and is situated on the first floor. Verditz has a family-friendly ski area with good pistes, where you can ski without stress and waiting times at the ski lift. After a day skiing you can go for a nice drink in the "snow bar" and enjoy the sun in the sun-loungers. Your children will learn to ski whilst playing in the local ski school. On the langlauf pistes at 1900m altitude you can enjoy the splendid panorama over the Nockbergen. When the frost has been sufficient, you can skate on the Afritzer See. Other ski areas like Kleinkirchheim, Dreiländereck and Gerlitzen are easily accessible. After an exhausting day you can relax in the thermal baths of Villach or Bad Kleinkirchheim. A visit to Villach (20 km) is definitely well worth it. In summer there is tobogganing for young and old. The cottage is an ideal base to go visiting one of the zoos, swimming pools, nature parks, museums or castles! You can go safely sailing and enjoying water sports on the Afritzer See or on the nearby Millstättersee! Get surprised by the Afritzer See and its region!

Bodner

Holiday home Bodner is located in the pretty "Gegendtal", south of Verditz and offers great views on the valley. The farm has 4 cosily decorated apartments. Your apartment is approx. 80 m2 and is situated on the first floor. Holiday home Bodner is a true paradise both for children and adults. The farm houses lots of animals like donkeys, bunnies and cats. You can truly relax here in the field or enjoy a lovely barbecue in the evening. In summer, the early birds will be rewarded with fairytale views over the Karawanken. You can make great walks in the region or visit the nearby mountain lakes. In summer the region is perfect for tobogganing, horse riding and tennis. And if the sun is not shining for a day or so, you can visit one of the museums or a summer fete. In 8 minutes you will reach the Afritzer See, in 20 minutes the Ossiacher See and Villach is 20 minutes away.

Chalet Lärchenweg

Set in a large garden on the edge of the forest at 1300m, Chalet Larchenweg is a super private house for an independently minded group or larger family. It is a 10 minute drive uphill from the village of Afritz, located on one of Carinthia's many lakes -one of the purest biking, hiking, skiing and relaxing regions in Austria. There are many activities available for every season including, skiing, Nordic walking, ice-skating, fishing, swimming, mountain bike riding, and sailing. In the winter you can ski directly onto the slopes from the garden of the chalet giving access to the family ski resort of Verditz. You can also explore the larger ski areas of Gerlitzen and Bad Kleinkirchheim (home of Franz Klammer) within a 20/30 minute drive respectively. During the summer, the private garden offers a terrace and barbeque area - ideal for relaxing after a day exploring the mountain. There is a lovely community on the mountain, with 2 bars/restaurants within a few minutes walk away should you feel like a night out. Recently renovated (2008-10), the interior is very flexible offering space for everyone and includes 3 living rooms, 4 bedrooms, wireless internet throughout, sauna and the added advantage of a self contained apartment on the top floor with a kitchen, separate bedroom and a low-ceiling bathroom - ideal for a family or older children looking for a little privacy within your group.
