Steiner

Country house Steiner is a beautifully situated house near the Felbertauern tunnel, in the village of Berg and reached via a 0.8km winding mountain road. The spacious properties are located on the 1st and 2nd floor. The accommodation is of a good standard and have many extras such as a wood burner, fat fryer and fondue set. The AT-9971-02 is situated on the 1st floor and AT-9971-03 on the 2nd floor. From the patio or balcony are views of the Matrei mountains. Specifics: Infraredcabine, frist use is free, after that every usage will cost 5,-.

Schmiddle

The old, small and cosy village of Matrei with its medieval church is situated 35 km. south of Mittersill in a valley surrounded by high mountain tops. It lies directly within the Hohe Tauern National Park, the largest national park in the eastern alps. You can imagine the fantastic walking possibilities you have in this area. Only 4 km from Matrei lies the cosy hamlet of Feld, and here, in a sunny spot where you'll find the detached chalet Riepler. The former smithy, your wooden chalet is for sole occupancy, privacy guaranteed! The house has a very cosy atmosphere partly due to the use of wood in the interior. The beautiful staircase that rises to the 1st floor is 200 years old! The house is surrounded by a private garden with garden furniture and there is a nice terrace where you can also barbecue. All in all a wonderful chalet for an ideal holiday. Specifics: The house consists of six sleeping places but we consider the house suitable for five persons.

Goldried Park

The Goldried apartments are perched on a hill in a tranquil woody area and enjoy breathtaking views over Matrei in East-Tirol. Haus Niederegger

This chalet is highly recommended and in a unique location. It is at the foot of a mountain. The chalet is in Schild which is part of the picturesque town of Matrei. This and the other chalets here are perfect for lovers of natural beauty. The Geschildalmen are at an altitude of 1500 metres. They are more than 100 years old and were accommodation for farmers while tending their cattle. There is no garden but there is the beautiful Alpine meadow. You can enjoy superb walks from the holiday home to Innergschlöss, Venedigerhaus and the Prägerhütte. You will occupy half of this pleasantly furnished, renovated chalet. The chalet is suitable for two adults and two children. Please note: The house is easily reached. There is a private car park very near the house. In summer cattle graze right up to the house. Wood is available for the fireplace. Dogs should be on a lead because of the cattle.

Haus Larcher

The Larcher House is in the heart of the picturesque village of Matrei. It is in a quiet area. The pleasantly furnished holiday home is on the ground floor. The home was built in 2004 and is 75 m2. This is a holiday home where youll feel immediately at home. Matrei is at an altitude of 970 metres and at the entrance of the Virgental Valley. It is the most well known village in East Tyrol after Lienz. The area is excellent for walking. You can enjoy walks for beginners or for advanced hikers, the choice is yours.

Haus Resinger

This holiday home was renovated in 2007. It is a former farmhouse. The home is in a delightful location and at an altitude of 1200 metres. It is 4 km from the village of Matrei. The house is in the mountains and surrounded by beautiful scenery. It is reached by a forest road. The home is an El Dorado for hikers and lovers of natural beauty. It is well kept, furnished with loving care and has a wooden decor. Please note that the single beds and the bunk beds are 1.80 metres long. Matrei is at an altitude of 970 metres and at the entrance of the Virgental Valley. It is the most well known village in East Tyrol after Lienz. It is an excellent area for walkers. You can enjoy delightful walks for beginners or for the very advanced. The choice is yours.

Marina

These comfortable apartments enjoy fine views of the market town of Matrei. They are just three minutes from the town centre. The apartments vary in size from 50 m2 to 55 m2. They are all equipped with an ISDN internet connection. Youll find garden furniture and a barbecue area on the 400 m2 roof terrace. There is also childrens play equipment. All is for shared use. The apartments friendly owner is a mountain guide and Nordic walking trainer. He can provide you with plenty of useful information. The attractive town of Feld is in the Hohe Tauern National Park in the East Tyrol. It is four kilometres from the town of Matrei. The Angerer House is in a sunny, quiet position near Feld and on the outskirts of a wood. The house is owned by the hospitable, child-friendly Larcher family. The original farmhouse was built in 1864. It is equipped with all modern conveniences. You will enjoy sole occupancy. There is an open kitchen, a Tyrolean style living room, an extra kitchen, five bedrooms, a balcony and a garden. You will feel immediately at home here. There is a swing, a slide and a barbecue area. A walkers paradise starts on the doorstep. Apart from the owners' old farmhouse which is also rented out, there are no neighbours. You can relax and enjoy a holiday at the Angerer House in complete tranquillity.
