Am Teich

Top quality chalet accessed from a private road on the edge of woodland between the villages of Flattach and Obervellach in the Möll Valley. With pine walls in all rooms bar the modern, tiled, bathroom, all furnishings are also solid pine, from the kitchen cupboards in the open plan kitchen through the traditionally styled dining/living area to the toilet-seat. You can cook on wood, gas or electric. The large sunny garden (1800m)has a large (unfenced) trout pond, although anglers have to go 800m to the river to fish. There are views from the terrace and BBQ area down the valley to the first peaks of the Grossglockner massif. Privacy, space,scenery and quality. a fabulous house!

Gatternighof

The Gatternighof has been a must in the national park Hohe Tauern for more than 300 years already. This rustic farmhouse has recently been lovingly renovated. It has a cosy living/kitchen with a wood stove for example. The holiday home benefits from a sunny south facing location at 1000m altitude and is a diversified accommodation for nature and adventure lovers. The area around the Gatternighof is often called the gem of the national park Hohe Tauern. And not without reason, because from the farm you walk straight into a lovely nature area, where tourism has not left its mark yet. Wild orchids blossom here, and rare birds and insects can be admired. Take a pair of binoculars, and who knows, you might see a deer or chamois goats. The cities Spittal, Lienz, Villach and Klagenfurt are also well worth a visit. In winter - and summer - you can go skiing and snowboarding on the Mölltaler glacier (ca. 14 km). This ski region offers a total of 53 km of slopes and a snowboard funpark. From the centre of Obervellach (ca. 10 minutes by car) ski buses drive to various ski areas. The ski areas are easily accessible by car. Every guest of the Gatternighof receives a National park Carinthia-card for no extra charge. This renovated house stands in a quiet location in the midst of the small but lively and social village of Obervellach. The house is located very near the centre and all recreation facilities, so you dont need a car.

Oberstbergmeisteramt

A historic building - once the nerve-centre of the world's largest gold mining empire - now a tastefully renovated appartment house with an unmistakable touch of class. Beautifully situated in the scenic centre of Obervellach, this 500 year old building is full of character and history, has a cafe terrace and open (roofed) courtyard, (often used for concerts and recitals), a ski room, lounge, art gallery(!) and wellness area all downstairs. There is a lift to the appartments upstairs. The kitchen, with dishwasher, is seperate to the living/dining area (free internet access!), the bathroom is enormous, whilst the bedrooms are peaceful and relaxing. Ideal for the rafting, glacier and skiing centres of the Möll valley. National Park card included.
