A fantastic authentic traditional carinthian hillside farmhouse located at 1000m altitude above Radenthein and the Lake Milstättersee. The building itself is 600 years old, and whilst the interior has been updated, the character of the house is very much intact. Solid wooden furnishings are standard, and the floors are also mostly pine. Apart from the roomy living room there are sitting/relaxing areas in the kitchen the entry hall, and most importantly on the sunny stone terrace, which offers wonderful views over the southern Nockberg massif. All the bedrooms have balconies too. Near the thermal resort of BKK, the lakes at Feld and Döbriach and just outside the Nockberg national park - a real jewel.

Almhaus Oldenhof

Wonderful remote private Almhouse with peace and privacy in abundance. The second last house in the valley, quietly and scenically located down a (well-maintained) forest track. Decked in pinewood inside and out - but renovated and modernised. The character of the house remains solidly intact, despite a new kitchen, 2 tiled bathrooms, and a modern kachel fireplace in the centre of the large main room. Wood for the fireplace is included (if necessary), but for the campfire outside you have to find your own in the forest! The bedrooms are all upstairs and the rooms at garden level are unused. The walking starts at the front door, naturally. An absolutely perfect house for unwinding and relaxing. The owner will be in touch with you about the local costs and deposit after booking.
