Osterrieder

A pleasant ground floor appartment some 800m from the centre of St Michael, the most westerly village of the Lungau valley. The layout is simple with one bathroom, a kitchen diner and a large family bedroom with a double bed and bunk. Whilst the decor is a little dated, the appartment offers a fully acceptable level of comfort, with oven and microwave, radio and satellite TV. The large shared garden is a haven in summer with an attractive BBQ terrace, swings and a ping pong table. In Winter our guests ski mostly on the Aineck and Katschberg, but the snowsure slopes of Obertauern (25 mins) are attractive to those who like to push their skipass to the limit.

Grosseck

A well-kept ground floor appartment, 1km from the centre of St Michael in the superbly located Lungau Valley. The Snow comes from the north, the sun from the south. Ideal! Owned by a friendly young English family, who live above, this appartment has its own private entrance, and an attractive shared garden, so guests can mingle as much (or as little) as they like. The living area is very large for an appartment of this type, has a large tiled stove as its centrepoint and real wooden flooring. The double sofa bed has plenty of room. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped, and the bathroom and small toilet are seperate. Nice appartment in an underrated area!

Aineck

A quality appartment owned by a friendly young English family on the outskirts of St Michael, in the famously traditional Lungau Valley. The former owners used to live here, and that is reflected in the good quality of furnishings and appliances. There is a private entrance, which in summer doubles as direct garden access to the pleasant terrace. The main rooms, the kitchen and living rooms are seperate, as are the bathroom (with bath!) and toilet. The kitchen is of course fully equipped, and the living room has a DVD player and radio.

Speiereck

A large well-maintained appartment for up to 8 people about 1km from the centre of the attractive centre of St Michael - in the west of the Lungau Valley. Two large 3-person bedrooms interconnect, but you can get to the bathroom from either without disturbing the people in the other room. Perfect for large family groups! The 2 extra beds can be put in the large living room, either of the bedrooms or even the kitchen diner. There is no shortage of space. The kitchen itself is of course fully equipped with dishwasher, and in the living room there is a DVD player and radio as well as the usual TV. A good standard appartment in an underrated area!

Santorum

A brand new first floor appartment (completed Jan 2011) located just outside the centre of St Michael in the Lungau valley. Located on its own up a private staircase and seperated from the main house by a wide corridor. All the appliances are first class, and with floor heating throughout and plug-in broadband internet access. The two bedrooms are accessed individually from the open plan kitchen / living / dining area, where there is also a sofa bed. The bathroom and toilet are seperate. With a petting zoo for the kids, a (shared) sunbathing lawn and BBQ area and located next to a stables. Access to skibus, Lungau cycle path and cross country ski track are all just 300m

Valentina

One of 2 similar appartments located just outside the village of St Michael im Lungau, but very close to ski bus, cycle path and cross country ski track. Quite large at 90m2 the appartment is decked out in mature pine, and has a large living/dining room with a balcony. This is adjoined by the open plan kitchen. The smaller bedroom of the 2 is up a short spiral staircase which is great for families or two couples travelling together as everyone gets their own space. Outside there is a riding stables, a petting zoo with 40(!) guinea pigs and a fenced garden with BBQ and sunloungers which is also shared with the guests of the house next door.

Belinda
