Dornröschen

A super converted farmhouse in the Katschbachtal. With 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen diner, large garden (with free use of the owners pool in summer) traditional outdoor skittle alley (!) and 4 bedrooms (1 of which is not fully converted), this is a tremendous house for any family group. Still mostly untouched by tourism, the valley is stunning, and overlooked on both sides by a number of easily accessible 2400m peaks. The very friendly owner can even give you a tour of it from the trailer of his vintage tractor! His brother is a wood sculptor, and you can see him in action too! 20 minutes from the skiing on the Kreischberg, this charming house is a top choice all year.
