Kreischberg

Empty mountain pass roads, small traditional villages and densely forested mountainsides define the countryside here. The Kreischberg (10 mins away) holds an international board and freestyle competition every winter and is now firmly on the alpine resort map. Turrach is only 15 minutes away, and nearby Obertauern has snow until May every year too.

Stadl

One of 3 appartments in the same building near the tiny centre of Stadl an der Mur. Located on the ground this is a simple appartment, but with a comparatively modern kitchen diner and bathroom. A washing machine and dishwasher are a definate plus. Almost circular in layout, the entrance is through the kitchen or bedroom from a small entrance hall. The bedroom adjoins both the other larger bedroom and the living area, which in turn leads to the kitchen. The larger bedroom has a single and bunk bed of which the bottom can open up to sleep 2. Large chalet on a chalet village in the Mur Valley, near the very small town of Stadl an der Mur. Recently built and with modern appliances and furnishings including a fireplace and sauna. The interior is solid pine throughout, and has a warm relaxing feel to it. 10 people can sleep comfortably in the 4 bedrooms, with plenty of room for an extra 2 in the living room on the sofa bed. 10 minutes to the ever-improving Kreischberg ski, golf and mountain area, and 15 minutes to the first lift to the Turracher Höhe. Murau, the regional capital is 15 minutes away, and the Tauern mountains to the north offer endless unspoilt hiking opportunities in the summer

Almdorf Stadl

This comfortable chalet is situated in between the walking and skiing areas of Kreischberg and beautiful Turracher Höhe. Kreischberg can be reached in about five minutes by car and Turracher Höhe in about fifteen minutes by car, and with more than 200 days of sun, both areas are very popular. The nearest shops and restaurants are in Stadl, which is only three minutes by car. The chalet consists of two floors. Entrance on the ground floor with seperate toilet. Comfortably and completely newly furnished living room with proper sofa bed for two persons, dvd, Wii, selection of books and large flatscreen TV. From the living room you have access to the large terrace of 30 m2, with some outdoor furniture, and garden of 100 m2. Well equipped kitchen with a.o. fridge / freezer, dishwasher, ceramic hob and ovenleads into the dining room, with chairs and large dining table for six persons. There is also a baby chair. There is parking for two cars. Upstairs there is double bed, with flatscreen TV, sound system and good selection of dvds - ideal after a hard days activity! In the other bedroom there are twin beds. The bathroom is fully equipped with shower, bath and basin.

Eder

The last house on the eastern edge of the sleepy farmers village of Einach in the Mur Valley. With wooden flooring throughout, and wooden walls downstairs, this chalet has an endearing warmth. The kitchen has a south facing terrace, and two of the 3 bedrooms have a balcony. The owner now lives in Salzburg, but sometimes uses his adjoining massage studio for an evening at weekends - usually saturday. This shares your hallway. The garden has a large fishpond and a small shed - perfect in summer. In winter you are 16km from the lifts at both Turrach and Kreischberg - the locals prefer the former 16km from the skiing at Kreischberg, Turracher Höhe and Tamsweg

Zilsterhut

New chalet on the edge of a new holiday park near Kreischberg and the neighboring ski area. Recently built (2010) with a gas fire, dishwasher, ski boot dryer and last but not least, a sauna! The home is finished with pine, has a conservatory with panoramic windows in the living room and all of the rooms are very spacious. There is an open kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and convection oven. On the ground floor there is also the first bathroom, equipped with a (steam) shower, washing machine, dryer and the sauna. On the first floor there are four bedrooms (2,2,2,3 beds) and a second bathroom with a bathtub.
