This interesting loft is full of atmosphere. It's on the first floor of the 'Drij Poorten' and is reached by a narrow, exterior spiral staircase. The accommodation is in a quiet location on a dike on the River Scheldt. It is a stones throw from Wintam Lock where the Willebroek Canal joins the Scheldt. The Southern Island Nature Reserve is next to the lock. The reserve is home to a wide variety of birds as well as semi-wild Heck Cattle and Konik Horses. You can have a wonderful time in the Scheldt region and enjoy delightful walks and cycling trips. You'll find a pleasant restaurant with outdoor seating on the ground floor. As well as cycling and walking in this relaxing locale you can also visit one of the area's many historic castles.
