Molen ter Sleepe

This wonderfully renovated mill is in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes. The stone-built grain windmill dates from 1795-1800. Due to the raised position of the mill, there is a superb view of the surrounding sloping landscape from the terrace and from some of the floors. The area is excellent for cycling. The 'Tour of Flanders' cycle race is held here. You can also enjoy walking, golf and horse riding. The mill has five floors with open staircases. The artist Piet van Praet lived here for many years and left his mark. Youll find many unusual, interesting details throughout the mill. This pleasant farmhouse is located in the village Maarkedal in the Flemish Ardennes and has the necessary luxury and privacy. This beautiful farmhouse nestles in the countryside in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes. The farmhouse consists of four apartments and the hospitable owners own accommodation. The owner breeds horses and you can visit the stables. You can even bring your own horse if you wish. Stabling, indoor riding and riding lessons are available for payment. There are many excellent bridle-ways nearby. With or without horses, you can enjoy the areas wonderful tranquillity, beautiful scenery and delicious Flemish cuisine. The large shared garden has an enclosed fish pond and an orchard with delightful views.
