La Cordonnerie

Located in a charming and quiet village, at the edge of the woods and along a brook, this very beautiful house with nice furnishings is in short a real piece of holiday heaven! "La Cordonnerie" is a little holiday cottage built in a spacious garden and close to the owners own residence. It sleeps 2 to 4 people comfortably. There are no luxuries, but it has all the home comforts. It is bright and colourful and will make you feel at home! Meadow for horse available. Marcourt is a small Ardennes village in the Ourthe valley (fishing and kayaking opportunities available). Marcourt has 3 hotels with restaurants, 1 tavern (take-away available), a local market every Wednesday in July and August (from 5pm till 9pm.) and many waymarked woodland footpaths. For extreme-sports fans there is a paragliding run, and for mountain-bikers, plenty paths. For those who just want to get away from it all, there is a retreat at the top of the hills You can also sample good beer at the Achouffe brewery, Trappist monks beer and lots of other regional varieties. For shoppaholics Marcourt is 8kms away from La Roche, 8kms from Hotton and 20kms from Durbuy ( 3 small but well known, tourist hot-spots). ATTENTION: The tenniscourt is open from june till august included.

Along the Ourthe and on a dead ended street, on th first floor a part of a well-kept, renoveated farm, furnished with taste, in a woody surrounding with many valleys, ideal for nature lovers. The toilets in this house are worth a detour!

L`Orangerie

LOrangerie is a holiday home consisting of two parts, so that you have two living rooms and multiple bathrooms. The interior is very stylish and personal. The charming kitchen/living room is unique. Each living room has a wood stove which assures wonderful warmth. In the orangerie (greenhouse) it is lovely to sit outside amount the grapevines, even in less perfect weather. There is also a spacious garden with a large lawn and natural enclosure, making it green oasis of peace. The holiday home is located around a charming interior courtyard and an expansive property on the river Ourthe. The residence is located next to a small castle, but with sufficient distance to guarantee your privacy. A bakery and pizzeria is located around the corner from the holiday home. This is a quiet location for a wonderful holiday. From the house you can take various lovely walks, for example up the hill to the hermits residence and chapel of Saint Thibault, or down to the Ourthe in only a few steps. This river is also tempting for canoeing. The village of La Roche is located close-by and is worth a visit. Also consider a visit to the Hotton caves and the very educational recreation forest in Parc Clorophylle.

Enjoy this cosy little house, fully built in natural stone and wood. There is a great sitting area with an open fire, an open plan kitchen and a mezzanine just under the roof. A very nice place for couples, or for a family with two children. The owners live nearby and are very attentive to make their guests feel at home. They will gladly show you the way to the weekly evening market with craft products in July or August. Kayak, fishing, mountainbiking, cycling, paragliding and other outdoor sports are possible. In the tourist town of La Roche nearby you can visit the Battle of the Ardennes museum or simply enjoy the local delicacies, such as Ardennes ham and regional beers.
