This beautiful terraced villa is situated in the picturesque seaside resort of Cavtat, which is well known for the lively cafés and excellent restaurants along its palm-lined boulevard. The 400-year-old Dalmatian villa has been extensively restored, and offers ample space and comfort. The villa is at a two-minute walking distance from the beach. The path to the sea meanders through a pine forest. The luxurious kitchen has been equipped with all possible modern appliances; it also has an old pizza oven. The wine cellar offers an impressive collection of Croatian wines, which can be purchased (guests pay at the end of their stay for what they have consumed). The large, walled garden is particularly suited for barbecuing. The living and dining areas are very spacious, allowing for in-door living in case of very hot or rainy whether. The villa has four bedrooms, two of which are double bedrooms and two are twin bedrooms. It offers three bathrooms (one of which is en-suite). There are air conditioners on the first and second floor. The services include cable television (which comes with a library of over 5,000 films) and wireless Internet. From April to October once per hour a boat sails directly from Cavtat into the old centre of Dubrovnik (transfer time is 40 minutes), considered one of the most beautiful towns on the Mediterranean. Dubrovnik can also be reached by bus, in half an hour. The villa is situated on the edge of the medieval town, which has been built on a hilly and wooded peninsula. In order to reach the villa, you have to climb 40 steps. Alternatively, there is a longer but almost step-free path.

Balich

Villa Balich is situated in the region of Konavle, a beautiful green area in the south of Croatia. This region is with its green hills, traditional villages and cypresses, almost simular to Tuscany. The holiday home is situated on the edge of the old little village of Dubravka. The house is situated on a quiet location at only 8 kilometres distance from the sea. From the village of Dubravka you can make many nice trips. The city of Dubrovnik is, for example, only a 50 minutes drive away. 20 Kilometres north of the house is the charming city of Cavtat. Here you can find many different shops, restaurants and bars. Furthermore, the city has nice beaches which are worth to pay a visit. Another option is to cross the border into Montenegro for the day and visit cities such as Budva, Kotor and Sveti Stefan.
