La Burlière

A holiday house right in the heart of a village accredited as being one of the "Most beautiful villages in France". Indeed, Roussillon is a small village perched on a promontory and surrounded by splendid, ochre coloured cliffs. These richly coloured cliffs you see in the photos are hardly 100 metres from the house. You can visit the many other Most Beautiful Villages in France that abound in this region: Venasques, Gordes, Ménèrbes, Lourmarin, Ansouis, etc. Few houses in the surrounding area have such a pretty little terrace in the shade of a grape vine. The holiday house, which dates from the 18th century, has recently been renovated by the owner using original materials. The interior style remains local but well-kept. For all that, the house is very functional and has a well-equipped kitchen. There are 2 bedrooms and a shower room on the upper floors. In addition, the small second floor terrace offers a magnificent view of the surrounding area. There is no problem parking since it is directly accessible (50 m) and free for tenants. This really is a holiday house not to be missed. Other places to visit in the surrounding area: Provence Colorado, Sentiers des Ocres paths, the Borie village (corbelled stone houses), the Provence markets, art galleries and many wine cellars.

Abbaye

Small restored abbey close to Gordes. The hamlet named Imbert has all the charm of Marcel Pagnol?s Provence: an old church, a small square, a few ancestral homes under the plane trees, surrounded by a sun-drenched vineyard. It?s a great place for tourism with not only the superb village of Gordes close by but also Cavaillon and its market, Avignon and its medieval heart, or just dazzling countryside with numerous enchanting villages: Fontaine de Vaucluse, Roussillon and Bonnieux, not to mention Senanque Abbey and Mont Ventoux. This is a carefully renovated ancient building in a special setting. A large enclosed courtyard gives the swimming pool a perfectly calm, intimate, luminous setting. One of the terraces, with magnificent vaults, is ideal for meals or for lazing around enjoying the heat. Adjoining this one, there are other sunny terraces.

Residence le Moulin à Vent

These charming, Provence-style family holiday homes are on the small Le Moulin à Vent Holiday Park. There are homes for four people, FR-84210-17 and five people, FR-84210-18. The interiors of the terraced homes are comfortable and well-maintained. They all have a covered terrace with a pergola and outdoor furniture.
