In the wide area, the fortress in Pirna-Zuschendorf, the hortus botanicus in Tharandt and the city Seiffen are worth visiting.

Strietzel

This pleasant 2 - 3 person studio is in a quiet residential area just outside Dresden. The modern furnished holiday home is 60 m2. It has its own entrance and a terrace with garden furniture. The beautiful centre of Dresden with the Semperoper, museums, theatres and restaurants, is easily reached using the citys excellent public transport. The nearby Sachsische Elbland, with the wonderful Sachsische Schweiz National Park is well worth a visit. The Zittauer Mountains are around one hour away by car. Youll discover splendid walking routes and breathtaking scenery here. If you want to combine delightful countryside, culture and a world famous city, this holiday home is for you.

Residenz Schloßgalerie

The village of Moritzburg is located in a pretty wood and ponds area, north of Dresden (8km). Moritzburg is characterised by the Schloss Moritzburg, a beautiful castle in Baroque style. The Residenz Schlossgalerie is located in direct proximity of the castle and in the centre of Moritzburg. The residence consists of 8 comfortable apartments. You will stay in an apartment of approx. 45-55 m2. The region of Moritzburg offers you endless leisure opportunities. It is an ideal base for nature lovers, e.g. because of the presence of the Moritzburger lake district and the extended forests. And culture lovers will also find their needs; Dresden for example has 17 theatres, 30 museums and 15 galleries. You will find many churches, castles, and other historical attractions in the region. Am Waldrand

This spacious six person holiday home is on the edge of the small town of Freital. The town is a stones throw from the beautiful City of Dresden. The holiday home is on the first and second floor. The house is on the edge of a wood. The historic centre of Dresden has wonderful museums, theatres and shops for you to enjoy. You can also explore the beautiful scenery in this part of southern Saxony. There are the famous Ore Mountains, the Zittauer Mountains and Lausitz. You can enjoy yourself here all through the year. The shared garden with garden furniture and barbecue is excellent in good weather. Children will enjoy the swimming pool which is only 1 km distance from the home.

Andrea´s Domizil

This 4-6 person holiday home is a stones throw from the delightful, cosmopolitan city of Dresden. It is on the third floor of this conveniently located house. There is plenty to do here at any time of year. You can enjoy museums, theatres, shops and more in Dresden's historic city centre. The superb landscapes of this southern part of Saxony are well worth exploring. You can visit the Ore and Zittau Mountains and the interesting Lusatia Region. Motorcycles or bicycles may be stored in the indoor garage, free of charge.

Kunsthof

Tiny Sobrigau, located in the foothills of the Erz Mountains, is part of the Municipality of Kreischa. It is only 11 kilometres from the baroque city centre of Dresden. You will reside in this unique and historic holiday house with separate entrance in the south wing of the triangular courtyard, with a total of 150 square metres over two floors. The courtyard is listed as an historic site and is located near Dresden 1 km from the city limits. Very quiet location in a protected landscape in the midst of the apple tree plantation. Sobrigau is an ideal basis for getting to know the Saxon Elbe area. The five star house offers absolute comfort on two levels and is fully furnished and equipped. The garden can also be utilized, with its grill and childrens playground. Sobrigau is an ideal basis for excursions to nearby destination or further afield. There are numerous destinations in the immediate vicinity accessible via an expansive hiking and spa route network. Favourite excursion destinations: State Capital Dresden, Saxon Switzerland and the Eastern Erz Mountains, Elbflorenz Golf Course, Königstein Fortress, and the spa town of Bad Schandau, with its Tuscan Baths.

Heidehof

This house is full of character. It is in a spa area, surrounded by woods and is suitable for twenty people. It is perfect for a large group. The picturesque surrounding area has an extensive network of excellent walking trails. You'll find numerous ski-resorts within a radius of five to fifteen kilometres. The price is around 5.00 for a half-day ticket. You can also enjoy a bobsleigh ride and relax in a thermal bath. There are a number of good restaurants in the nearby village. There is a large recreational lake in the vicinity with play equipment, pedal boats and a restaurant which you can enjoy in summer. You can also go tobogganing. There are a number of attractive cities on both the German and Czech sides of the border. They are all worth visiting and easy to reach. There are various apartments which can all be used, giving you the complete run of the house. Everyone can enjoy the large living room and kitchen in the basement. And you always have the privacy of your own apartment. The house has a very spacious terrace with garden furniture, a billiard table and table tennis.

Sächsische Schweiz

The village of Wei?ig is located in the middle of Saxon Switzerland, in the Elbe sandstone mountains above the spa town of Rathen and is a central base for walks and cycling tours. The holiday residence is located on the first floor of the residential house of a listed Saxon triangular courtyard and offers accommodation for a maximum of four persons. A garden with garden furniture and grill are also available . Favorite excursion destinations: With the "Weissen Flotte"on the Elbe, the fortress of Königstein, the cliffs of Rathen, Pirna, Bad Schandau, Dresden, and Meißen are within easy reach. The Bohemian Switzerland or Prague are also worthwhile destinations.

Bergblick

In the middle of the beautiful Elbsandstein mountain range lies the cute village Reinhardtsdorf which is mainly known for its church which has superb wood carvings from 1521. This wonderful detached house with a view at various rock formations, of which the Zirkelstein is the most famous one, is situated in the village section Schöna. The house offers accommodation on the ground floor and first floor to two properties (resp. the DE-01814-02 and DE-01814-03) which you can rent for sole occupancy and combined as a private house (DE-0814-01). The houses have a large parcel with sunbathing meadow, garden furniture and BBQ and direct access to many and very divers hiking tracks in the region. The house also lies at only 50 km. from the famous Dresden which is certainly worth a visit. Visit one of the many museums of take a boat trip with the cart wheel boat from the white fleet. If you look for a nice holiday destination in a region with gorgeous nature and interesting culture, then you are at the right address here.

Alter Bahnhof

This beautiful old railway station is in the Königstein region in southern Saxony. The first floor consists of two spacious holiday homes. They are a beautiful combination of historic character and modern comfort. Both the four person home, DE-01814-04, and the two person home, DE-01814-05, are spacious and colourfully furnished. You can enjoy picturesque walks through the unique Sächsische Schweiz National Park. The park is not far from the homes. A boat trip on the River Elbe and a visit to Grossedlitz Castle gardens are not to be missed. Remarks: Both appartments are almost identical. Only the kitchens and bathrooms differ. Haus Leana

The village Hohnstein is located in the beautiful ore mountains of Swiss Saxony approx. 40km south-east from Dresden. The market square with its medieval fort is particularly attractive. Another attraction is also the stone border of Lausitz granite that crosses the town over the Elbsandstein. In the Lohsdorf sector, on land of approx. 1700 m2, you will find this recently built detached house, on the edge of town in a quiet and sunny location with beautiful views. The very well maintained and comfortable holiday home consists of a ground floor and 1st floor. A terrace with garden furniture also belongs to the accommodation as well as a generous outdoor area with pond, small barbecue area and a play area for children. Favourite excursion destinations in the region: Königstein with its fortress as well as the waterfall in Lichtenhain. There are also many other fortresses and castles in a 10-20 km radius. An excursion to the neighbouring Czech republic is particularly recommended.

Heidi

Mittlendorf lies on an altitude of 365 metres at the base of the Schrammsteine en Hohen Liebe at 40 km. from Dresden and only 7 km. from the Czech Republic border. The village lies at the so called Panorama street which runs along the national park 'Hinteren Saxony Schweiz', from where you will find marvelous rock formations and hiking courses. The cosy, pleasant holiday home Heidi is situated at the edge of the village on a 900 m large parcel with sunbathing meadow, terrace and garden furniture. In order to discover this pretty unknown region it is of course ideally situated. You will reach Dresden as well as the Czech Republic already within half an hour!

Feriendorf Fuchsberg

The spa town of Schirgiswalde, which is located in the heart of the Oberlausitzer Bergland, enjoys a beautiful location. It is surrounded by a slightly slanting and woody landscape, which, of course, offers a wide range of possibilities for hiking and cycling tours. On top of that, the cities of Bautzen, Görlitz, Kamenz, Luban, Löbau and Zittau (the so-called Lusation League) are worth visiting, because of their mixture of cultural heritage and cosy terraces. Furthermore, we can highly recommend day trips to the city centre of Dresden, the butterfly house in Jonsdorf, the dinosaur park in Kleinwelka and the country house in Pirna-Zuschendorf. This small-scale holiday village enjoys a quiet location just outside Schirgiswalde. From the park, you have a wonderful view over the valleys of Schirgiswalde and Wilthen. In the main building, you can also make reservations for your breakfast, half-board or full-board, which are provided at request. The park offers two types of houses, namely the comfortable, detached family houses for 7 persons (DE-02681-02) with three bathrooms, and the partially detached houses for 6 persons (DE-02681-01) with three bedrooms. If you are looking for something different for a holiday with the family or your friends, Saxony will definitely charm you. Details: The third bedroom is located around a corner and preferably suitable for children, because of its slanting roof. This room does not have a door.

Oberlausitzer Bergland

The renowned and family friendly leisure resort of Schirgiswalde is affectionally called the gem of the Oberlausitz and is located in the picturesque landscape of the Oberlausitz mountains. In this cosy holiday home for up to three people you will spend a good holiday. The apartment is located on the 1st floor of this pretty timbered house and has a living surface of 50 m2. Literally within a stone's throw of the Czech Republic and Poland lies the health resort of Jonsdorf in the most southeastern part of the province of Sachsen. The village is surrounded by a beautiful scenic area; a combination of vast woodland, sloping hills and rock formations. People who love nature and are looking for some peace and quiet will certainly find what they look for. It is almost unthinkable that you would not visit the neighbouring countries. You could also visit the city of Dresden that's only an hour away. Country house Gerda is situated at the southern edge of the village of Jonsdorf and comprises of 2 cosy, well kept accommodations that allow you to explore a new region in an inexpensive way. Both the 2-4 pers. DE-02796-01 as well as the 4-pers. DE-02796-02 are on the ground floor and have a communal garden. Both accommodations have their own garden furniture and a barbecue. Oberlausitzer Umgebindehaus

This 6 person detached holiday residence was built in 1879 and is an Umgebindehaus, a combination of block work and timber frame. The unique and typical style of the Umgebindehaus results from a section made of wood, the so called Blockstube and a stone section. These unique houses are found mostly in this country triangle where Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland meet. The Zittau Mountains lie in the most southerly section of Oberlausitz. The regional capital of Zittau provides access to an area with many options for relaxation. Discover the Trixi Park, Lake Olbersdorf, the steam train in the spa town of Jonsdorf, the climbing routes in Oybin and the alpine slide in Oberoderwitz (summer and winter). Waltersdorf is located at the foot of the 793 metre Lausche. The quiet village of Waltersdorf is an ideal base for exploring the region. Discover the walking routes (down the street in the Czech Republic). Here there are ski slopes with guaranteed snow walking distance away.
