In the hamlet of Gasthuis, just outside of the village of Bemelen there is a protected village view, at the edge of the resplendent Margraten plateau. The entire area is surrounded by a rolling landscape, marl caves and concave paths. For hikers and cyclists, the region offers many opportunities. In good weather, you can look around Maastricht, the Maas Valley, the Southern Limburg hills, the Voer region and Tongres.
