De Broekstermaar

Fixed in a centuries old farm, which is wonderfully peaceful, hidden between the greenery, located in an agricultural area, between the villages Kloosterburen, Wehe-den Hoorn, Eenrum and Pieterburen. The BroeksterMaar is now a beautiful accommodation farm with a variety of provisions. With beautiful weather, it is good to relax at the trees and sheltered shrubs terrace in our splendid adjacent garden. Our hostel lies along the Broekster Lake, a very peaceful little streamlet that formed part of the current of the Hunze. Many centuries ago, when the landscape still showed equality with the former wadden area, these tidings where the gully is between the islands and sand banks. Hostel De BroeksterMaar therefore lies directly along kanoe, fish water, and is an area with fine possibilities for cycling and hiking. We will gladly arrange a wading in the mud flats trip or a rent of a canoe or bicyle. From the harbour of Lauwersoog the ferryboat departs to Schiermonnikoog; a day Schier is an unforgettable experience. Pieterburen with among others the seals crèche and 'Domies Toen' can be found a quarter of an hour by bicycle. The National Park 'Lauwers Lake' lies close and is worth a visit any time of the year. Naturally a visit to the museum The Tea Factory in Houwerzijl and the surety Verhildersum in Leens, but our extensive documentation shows you the road to many other places of interest in the surrounding from May to October, there is a concert every Saturday evening on the famous Hinsz organ, of the Petrus church in Leens.

De Lauwer

De Lauwer lies in Lauwersoog on the Wadden sea. The complexcomprises of a sailing school, groups accommodation and a small number of detached cosy vacation houses with a new kitchen. All houses have a large garden and lie directly on the water.

These apartments are in the former Marne Mustard Factory in the village of Molenrij, around 15 km from the Waddenzee. The apartments are nostalgic and full of atmosphere. You must visit the owners restaurant and enjoy some fine cooking. t Korensant restaurant offers Belgian/French artisan fare and all dishes are home made. You can walk, cycle or sail in the surrounding area. The delightful landscape is dotted with picturesque villages. There are many local attractions such as the Pieterburen seal sanctuary, the Wad Walkers Centre and the Lauwersmeer. Extra information: The linen package consists of: bed linen, towels, bathrobe, bath slippers and kitchen towels. Room service is available on request for breakfast and dinner.

Het Witte Huis

This comfortable holiday home is in the village of Molenrij. The village is in the province of Groningen and just fifteen kilometres from the wonderful Waddenzee. Those who enjoy tranquillity, space and beautiful scenery will have a superb time here. You can almost hear the silence during the day and at night you can admire an amazing starry sky. The surrounding area has an extensive network of walking and cycling paths. There are also numerous boating and canoeing routes. You'll notice the famous 'Maren'. These are narrow waterways which wind through the landscape. They are perfect for boating, canoeing and exploring. The area's wide, uninterrupted views are punctuated by picturesque villages. You can also enjoy the Pieterburen Seal Sanctuary, the Wadloop Centre and the Lauwersmeer National Park. The beautiful island of Schiermonnikoog will make an excellent day trip. You can reach the lively city of Groningen within half an hour.

Robersum

Robersum is a cosy group accommodation on the edge of the National Park Lauwersmeer. Its intimate character makes the building very suitable for families and groups of friends. But school groups will also find it is a perfect home base for an exciting (work)week, thanks to the spacious outside grounds with football- and volleyball grounds, children play garden and the opportunity to make a camp fire.
