Pakhuis Schotland

This recently renovated warehouse, situated in the Harlingen docks, has fantastic views over the passing ships. The city centre with its intimate restaurants and terraces is on walking distance and offers many possibilities for relaxation and fun! In Summer the hustle and bustle of the city is vibrant! Daytrips to the islands Terschelling or Vlieland are possible and well recommended, the ferry leaves from the harbour.

De Vriendschap

The Frisian tjalk De Vriendschap was built in 1902 and is currently moored in the historic centre of Harlingen in the winter months. On board you sleep in a two person cabin, where the beds are placed one above the other. In every cabin there is a wonderful sink with hot and cold running water. You can literally and figuratively get a breath of fresh air in Harlingen in Frisia. You can stroll along the harbours where there is always something to experience, or walk along the sea dike. Visit the numerous shops in the picturesque centre of Harlingen and have a tasty meal in one of the many cafes and good restaurants. From Harlingen you can also cross to Terschelling and Vieland.
