This farmhouse is in the town of Markelo in the Province of Overijssel. The holiday home is in the front part of this traditional Twente farmhouse. The house dates from 1910. Authenticity is the central theme here. This is reflected in the tiled walls, doors and interior. The delightful surrounding countryside is excellent for long walks and cycle trips.

The holiday home is attractively furnished, has every modern convenience and is surrounded by countryside. The pleasant sloping landscape is punctuated with heath lands. The area has something for everyone. Beautiful cycling and walking routes run past traditional farmhouses which have been restored to their original splendour. You can cycle or walk past asparagus fields, flower nurseries and vineyards. Children will enjoy the Slagharen Adventure Park which is forty minutes away by car. The mini Waarbeek Adventure Park in Hengelo is ten kilometres away. The attractive cities of Enschede and Hengelo are well worth visiting.
