This new addition to a monumental farmhouse is beautifully situated close to the region of the Frisian lakes. Well suited for a number of families, family or friends reunions. The house owner lives in a part of the farmhouse and the other part of the farmhouse is adapted as a cosy, authentic holiday cottage with modern comfort. Local sights: Bozum (middle ages frescos), the watersports lake Sneekermeer (8 km), walking and cycling routes, situated on the 'Elfstedentocht' route (traditional ice-skating route). Depending on group size some bedrooms might be closed during your stay.

Boerderij de Stapert

This holiday home is in the front section of a farmhouse. It has a spacious garden. The farmhouse is on the outskirts of the Friesian village of Wommels. The village is on an open waterway, so you can explore the area from the water. A rowing boat and canoe are available for your use. The village centre of Wommels is built on an artificial hill. You'll find various shops there including a supermarket, baker and butcher. The hill is used for many different activities in summer. The village is in a convenient location. It is near several of the Elf Steden (Association of 11 Friesian cities) such as Bolward, Sneek, Workum and Franeker. This is a perfect location for lovers of nature, tranquillity and open space. The area is perfect for walking and cycling.

Angema Goet

In this spacious, elevated room (36 m2), the alcoves in the walls will trigger your imagination. The former bed has been replaced by a kitchen.The chimney has been decorated with typical Frisian tiles. The room is just above the cow-milking barn and you will enjoy a beautiful view on the fields orientated towards the small village of Easterlittens. The hamlet of Skrins consists of 4 farms, of which two are still in operation. It is situated at the heart of the Frisian plains, 'de Greidhoeke'. The village of Easterlittens is at the crossing of the Bolswardervaart and Franekervaart. You are about 15km from Bolsward, Leeuwarden and Sneek. In these cities, you will find a great variety of cultural sights and culinary specialities. Lovers of nature will be happy to hear that Skrins is also the name of a protected natural reservate. In spring and summer, the sky vibrates and buzzes from plovers, godwits, curlews, oystercatchers and bush robins. Sporadically, you will also be able to see spoonbills. Two bycicles are at your disposition (2,50 euro per bike per day)
