This holiday home is in the heart of the river area between the towns of Tiel and Zaltbommel. The home enjoys splendid views of the River Waal. The landscape of the Betuwe region is particularly beautiful during the blossoming period. This runs from the end of April until early June. The town of Tiel is ten kilometres away and is the starting point for a wonderful tour of the surrounding orchards in full blossom. You can also stroll along river banks or on centuries old dikes. Many excellent walking routes wander through the beautiful scenery around the banks of the River Waal. You can use the ferry boat for cyclists and pedestrians between the villages of Varik and Heerewaarden during the summer months. The superb views from the balcony of the river and its boats are a unique aspect of this holiday home.
