Het Achterend

This cosy and functionally furnished holiday cottage is located only 150 metres from the Ijsselmeer in the Frisian village of Laaksum (Warns). The holiday home is the back part of a head to tail farm and is located completely freely at the edge of the village with a view to the horizon. The cottage is located in an area created a landscape park with a large bird reserve. You can take endless walks, cycling excursions or tour with the car. The Ijsselmeer with the harbour of Laaksum is located on the other side of the dike 150 metres away. The Frisian lakes are 3 km away and the forests of Rijs and Gaasterland 5 kilometres further. There are restaurants and shops in Stavoren (5 km). There are numerous sights and excursions to be made in the area. A visit to the Frisian towns of Stavoren, Hindelopen and Workum (Jopie Huisman Museum) is highly recommended. For children, the Sybrandys Children's Park in Ooudemirdum is recommended, or a boat trip to the open air museum in Enkhuizen.
