For the longer, darker evenings, hunker down in front of the open fire to recount the day. Het Bovenhuis is located in the charming village of Rijsbergen in the municipality of Zundert. In Rijsbergen you'll find the cultural history centre De Weeghreyse, where you can view presentations of "The Napoleanic Route", and world famous painter Vincent van Gogh was born in Zundert in 1853. Many things will remind you of him. In the Vincent van Goghhuis you'll steal a glance into the painter's life. If you'd rather experience a bit of hustle and bustle in the city, Breda, Roosendaal and even Antwerp are within easy reach and certainly worth a visit!
