This charming holiday home in the Drenthe village of Schoonebeek was built in 1936 on an original thatched residential farm from 1881. The current owners of the farm renovated the house in 2009 and it is now a comfortable and charming holiday home. The holiday home offers lovely views of the landscapes. In the summer, cows wander through the meadow, in the winter, Shetland ponies. Schoonebeek is a characteristic Drente village with many authentic Saxon farms. The surrounding area has much to offer. The old settlements of Middendorp and Oostersebos are beautiful destinations. And one should also visit the sand scatter farm in Schoonebeek. Nature lovers will never be bored. Walking and cycling excursions are plentiful, for example in the het Bargerveen nature reserve. Visit the Noorderdierenpark Zoo in Emmen (about 20 km), the megalith centre in Borger (35 minutes in the car), or the towns of Emmen (about 20 km) and Coevorden (about 11 km).
