Kasteel Grasbroek
Kasteel Grasbroek
This beautiful castle was built in 1596. It is between the villages of Born and Limbricht in the province of Limburg. You will enjoy complete tranquillity here. The holiday accommodation is in the castle. It has a terrace at the front and a small private garden at the side. The castle is surrounded by an estate which includes the ruins of the moat, various out buildings and a large meadow. The castle's former owner resides in one of the buildings. A lot of the castle's original features have been preserved. These include sixty-three arrow slits which provide plenty of natural light. The original high ceilings are still there as is the 400 year old tower with its spiral staircase. The castle is in a nature reserve and is not appropriate for groups desiring party entertainment. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Castle Grasbroek is the property of the Natural Monuments Preservation Society. They are dedicated to the maintenance of nature areas and some historic properties, including Castle Grasbroek. Through its location in a quiet area and the historic character of the property, Castle Grasbroek is not suitable for all renters. The elderly former owner who also lives on the property relies on the peace and space of this site. This location is therefore not suitable for groups of guests who like to stay up late into the night. Visitors outside of the 12 guests are expressly prohibited.
