The homeowner has a few boats which can be hired for taking a lovely boat trip. There are rowboats and a childrens canoe available for the children. Lovely sights in the area are the shipping museum in Sneek, the museum shop of Douwe Egberts in Joure and the towns of Leeuwarden and Franeker. The area around Sneek is perfect for exploring by bicycle. The routes lead you along the water, meadows and nature area.
