This holiday home is in the middle of the old, picturesque village of Urk. The home is near the harbour and has the appearance of a typical Urk house. It was completely renovated in 2008 and is now a comfortable holiday accommodation. It has every convenience and the interior is full of atmosphere. After a busy day you can relax in the wonderful Jacuzzi. Urk was an island in the Zuiderzee so there's a lot to see here. In the summer months you can visit the lighthouse. You can also see how the people of Urk used to live at the fisherman's' museum. Water sports lovers can enjoy themselves on Lake Ijssel, formerly the Zuiderzee. The historic cities of Amsterdam and Utrecht are just one hour away by car. You can enjoy excellent walking and cycling here. Explore the 'Windmill Route' by bike and walk along the 'Stegen Trail'. There's plenty to do and enjoy in Urk and its surrounding area.
