Aeschi is a small quiet village on a mountain plateau (860 metres high), in a rural environment, 5 km from the popular town of Spiez on Lake Thun. In the summer there is an expansive walking area, and you can swim, fish, mountain bike, surf, water ski, golf in Interlaken and sail on Lake Thun. Interlaken, Brienz, Thun and Meiringen are all in the immediate vicinity. The covered swimming pool in Aeschi is open year round and has a 35 degree thermal bath.
