Châlet Rotfuchs

The chalet Rotfuchs is located at 1570m altitude in the fabulous mountain village Bellwald. You will have a great view on the Fiescherdal and Rhone valley from the chalet. The chalet is a former 400 year old stable which was transformed into a comfortable holiday home. It is located at ca. 20m from the street and is only accessible by walking on a narrow mountain path, with stairs. It is lovely to take breakfast on the south facing terrace in the morning - in the fresh mountain air. You will find a wood stove in the living/dining room, around which you can warm up in winter and enjoy a tasty cheese fondue or raclette. You will find a supermarket, a bakery, bank, ski school and a few restaurants at 10 minutes' walk. The region is beautiful and is perfect for winter and summer sports activities like (glacier)walking, hang-gliding, ski and langlauf. You can reach the ski lift on foot in 10 minutes or by ski bus (stop at 50m). The lift brings you to the pistes of the excellent ski area Bellwald. You will reach the lift of Riederalp/Bettmeralp (3100 hight) in appr. 10 minutes by car.

Talblick

The Talblick House is 200m from the Valley Station, just outside the centre of Bellwald. The apartment is on the first floor, well kept and pleasantly furnished. You can enjoy delightful views of the surrounding mountains from the balcony. Bellwald nestles in the Rhone valley. It is originally an old farming village and has kept its character. The Aletsch area offers excellent opportunities for skiers and snowboarders. There is a special nursery slope for small children. The ski area also has around100 km of well prepared cross-country ski runs. You can use the chair lift in summer, which will take you to some excellent walking paths. You can reach heights of up to 2500m on the local gondola lift. The many crystal-clear mountain lakes are well worth a visit in summer. The famous Aletsch Glacier is also highly recommended. The attractive old centre of Brig is well worth seeing.

Montanara

The Montanara House is in a quiet location on the edge of the Bellwald. The holiday home is on the second floor. The home is 90 m2 and is suitable for 6 people. There are three bedrooms and a bathroom with bath. The home has an impressive open fireplace. The balcony enjoys splendid views of the surrounding mountains. You can reach the town centre within minutes on foot. In winter, the Aletsch ski area has excellent winter sports facilities around the Aletsch Glacier. Theres always a really good atmosphere here.

Silentium

This detached chalet, house no 336, is near the centre of Bellwald. It is on the road from the village to the Valley Station. The spacious holiday home is on the first floor. Bellwald

Bellwald is a small mountain village, 20 km to the northeast of this historic city of Brig and is located at an elevation of 1600 metres. Both in the winter and in the summer you will find everything here for the most spoiled and active holidaymakers. Mountain biking, mini-golf, walking and tennis are only a few of the options. Through the high location, Bellwald is assured of snow and an ideal location for families. The chalet is located 10 minutes walk from the centre and has a beautiful south facing terrace. The furnishings are well looked after and are typically Swiss. The ski lifts are five minutes walk away, and if there is enough snow, you can ski back to the chalet. In the summer, you might visit the Aletsch Glacier.

Manda

Fürwangen is located 3 km to the east of the famous town of Fiesch. Fürwangen is actually a small resort, at the beginning of the road to Bellwald. You have 2 ski resorts here, Bellwald and Fiesch. The train to Fiesch and the lift to Bellwald depart 200 metres from the home. In the winter there are many options and in the summer this is a perfect walking region. A trip over the Aletch Glacier is certainly a high point. Haus Manda is a bit below the Furkastrasse, which gives you peace and quiet. On the ground floor there is a new holiday home with a garden and terrace right out the door.

Bel Air

Apartment Bel Air (ca. 75 m2) is located on the third floor and has 2 spacious balconies with a wide view on the mountains of Bellwald. The apartment is directly situated next to a nature area at an altitude of 1650 m. Its car park is kept snow-free in winter. Bellwald is located in the Rhône valley and originally was an old farmers' village. Most of its authentic character has been preserved. There are twelve picturesque villages in the Rhône valley, which are characterised by the typical wooden chalets, tainted dark by the sun and the wind. There are various excellent restaurants in the villages. The Aletsch-area offers good opportunities for skiers and snowboarders and there is a special training slope for children. The trained skiers will find true challenges in the area under the Steibenkreuz. Until mid-April you can enjoy the extensive skiing facilities, despite the sunny location in the South-West. There is a funpark for snowboarders and a snowboard school in Bellwald. The ski area also offers approx. 100 km of well maintained langlauf loipes. There is no skibus but you can ski directly from Hotel Edelweiß (500m). In summer, Bellwald and the area offer a fabulous walking area to their guests. Also visit one of the crystal clear mountain lakes in summer and feast your eyes on the magnificent views on the high mountain tops. The cable car takes you to altitudes of 2500 m. And how does a day shopping in Milan sound ? This is also perfectly possible from Bellwald. In short, a holiday in Bellwald offers all the ingredients for a lovely holiday in the mountains!
