This region is perfect for skiing and snowboarding in the winter. There are 140 km of slopes. The highest lift ascends to 3000 m. The closest ski lift is only a 10 minute drive away. There are various walking paths. The panoramic view extends from the Simplon in the east to Mont Blanc in the west. In the summer you can take simple walks to many villages, but you can also hike to a multitude of mountain huts. In the nearby surroundings there are also golf courses and places to swim. Chalet Les Palettes is a small family chalet, with simple but cosy furnishings and finished with a great deal of wood. The oldest part was built in 1926. The last renovation was in 1996. It is in a quiet location at the edge of the village with a view of the white peaks. There is a cheery sunny balcony. There is a large garden with seating, both in the sun and in the shade.
