A delightful warm, comfortable and bijoux cottage, converted from an old stable dating from the 18th century, with a wealth of old beams. The cottage is very conveniently situated in the centre of the small village of Gilwern, lying in the Vale of Usk approximately three miles from Abergavenny. The village has several shops, post office, hair dressers and inns serving excellent food. The Brecon/Newport canal runs through the village, which has narrow boats to hire. A few miles further along the canal is the quiet market town of Crickhowell. Abergavenny 'the traditional Gateway to Wales' is a bustling town with a weekly Farmer's Market with live stock and home made foods.
