Castles and stately homes abound in all directions amid the beautiful rolling countryside.The cottage is located within a few minutes walk of the conservation town centre of Jedburgh and all its amenities and facilities You can leave the car behind in the on-site car park after a busy day touring and enjoy a choice of restaurants, pubs, (some with local evening entertainment) a fitness centre with 25m swimming pool, tennis and squash courts. There are regular farmers and continental markets held in the town centre; annual festivals include the Jedburgh Callants Festival at the end of June and the beginning of July; Jedburgh Half marathon in October and rugby at The Riverside.
