Gilfach
Gilfach
Gilfach Barn is set in sixty acres of stunning countryside with native mixed woodlands, crystal clear babbling brooks, wild flower, meadows, blue bell woods and wetland areas - a wealth of natural habitats for visitors to wander over and to explore. This tastefully converted 17th Century Barn has retained the original oak beams, low ceilings and now has a woodburning stove set in the stone fireplace. There is easy access to many walks straight onto the open hillside straight from the door. Within a few miles there are the ever popular tiny Shoemakers Arms at Pentre Bach - run by the local community, The Castle Coaching Inn in Trecastle and other local pubs in Sennybridge and Defynnog. Sennybridge (2 miles) has a couple of local shops and a post office. The farm lies 11 miles to either Brecon or Llandovery.
