The character of the old buildings is preserved with lofty beamed ceilings and stable doors leading to a private garden at the rear and shared courtyard at the front. There are many walks through the fields and down to the river and bicycles are available (kept at the owner's house) for further exploration, Leeds Castle is closeby and Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells are within easy reach. Notes: Dropping off luggage at courtyard, park by main house a few yards further up driveway. Sorry - adults only and babies under 6 months old.

The Clock House

Peace and quiet in abundance can be found on this private vineyard. The Clock House has absolutely stunning views over the fields from the balcony and is ideally situated for exploring the heart of Kent with its many castles, gardens and Historic Trust properties - with Leeds Castle a short distance away. A very short drive - or a healthy walk - takes you to the pretty Wealden village of Sutton Valence with good pubs serving great food plus a general store/Post Office. Headcorn with more shops, pubs and restaurants is just 3 miles away and it has a main-line station with good service to London ( approx 1 hour). This really is an idyllic location for a relaxing and interesting holiday - fish for carp and tench in the large pond behind the house and learn all about running a vineyard if you get bored! Remarks: the pond is un-fenced and deep so young children must be supervised at all times.

Strawberry Cott

Strawberry Cottage is in a tranquil location on a 100 acre mixed fruit farm in glorious countryside. There are wonderful walks through the farm, neighbouring woods and on National Trust land at Gover Hill. The Greensand and Weald Walkways meet in the village of West Peckham with its Saxon Church and pub on the village green. Tunbridge Wells, West Malling and Paddock Wood are all easily accessible.
