Authentic bricks and beams have been preserved to retain the innate character of the lovely old building but the latest materials have been used where appropriate to enhance the comfort and bring a sense of contemporary style to the living arrangements. The original farmhouse and other outbuildings are adjacent but do not overlook the property which feels beautifully remote but is actually only three miles from the charming medieval town of Mayfield with its lovely shops and pubs. Bewl Water is close by for boating, fishing, cycling and walking. The main entrance to the house is on the side through a loggia and approached via a short flight of 4 steps.
