Pipe Cottage

A 2 bedroom single storey barn conversion set in its own acre of grounds with panoramic views and passed by a stream. Located in the High Weald Area of Natural Beauty in countryside surrounding the Hamlet of Salehurst, nr Robertsbridge, Battle and with a bridal way and public footpath passing nearby, Pipe Cottage is ideally situated for a relaxing walking holiday or for visiting local historic towns, villages, famous houses, gardens and castles. Pipe Cottage is approached down a long farm lane which is a little rough in one short section. This is a shared access road for only a few properties well away from main roads in a peaceful location.

The Kell

Once the dairy to the 160-acre farm, The Kell has been converted to provide spacious holiday accommodation Located in peaceful countryside with immediate access to wonderful designated walks on and around the farm. The farm is a haven for wildlife and the small reservoir at the end of the farm encourages many varieties of birds. Sheep and pheasants still remain on the farm, which once bred cattle, as well as farming hops.

This barn enjoys wonderful views and is in a unique position for walking and exploring the rich countryside, nearby coastal areas and many historic buildings. With natural oak and flagstone floors the interior of this property feels spacious, warm and very welcoming.

Butters Cottage

Located within two acres of beautiful gardens down a quiet country lane, this charming ancient attached cottage provides very comfortable and attractive holiday accommodation. With origins dating from the 1600s the cottage boasts many character features. It is perfectly situated for birdwatching (over 50 species in and around the grounds), for exploring the many gardens, National Trust properties, vineyards and glorious countryside - which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Remarks: Due to steep stairs and sloping gardens this property is not suitable for the less mobile and small children may need supervision. The owners have their own two very friendly Golden Retrievers so are happy to accept equally sociable pets.

Astonishingly quiet and secluded - just the birdsong to break the silence - yet close to neighbouring farm house, barn and Oast, the location is simply breathtaking. The nearby village of Brightling is famous for its collection of fascinating follies, built by the eccentric Victorian squire, John 'Mad Jack' Fuller. They include the Needle, the Observatory, and the Sugarloaf - rumoured to be the result of a bet that Fuller lost! They are all on your doorstep.
