Once, the surrounding houses were taverns for incoming mariners, now they are exquisite character homes. The cottage is tucked away in a secret corner off the ancient Church Square - you can hear the church bells and organ playing. The cottage is gorgeous in its simplicity - the whole structure is heavily beamed, beautifully renovated, cosy and full of character. Remarks: Stairs are steep, and not recommended for the elderly or for small children. Unloading from car permitted outside. Includes parking permit for use in neighbouring streets. Normal charges apply in car parks. There is no garden, but the whole of Rye is at your feet.
