Pips Barn

The barn is set in a stunning hillside location in the Black Mountains above a peaceful valley. The barn is within the grounds of the owners house but is completely private with the windows and door looking across the fields and from here there is direct access to a footpath. The lane can get icy in winter, please check first. Crickhowell is only 10 minutes drive away (3 miles) where there are many good restaurants and pubs. Llanbedr village with its local pub is within walking distance of the barn. This house is not suitable for children under the age of 7.

Pen Y Fan Lodge

Sugarloaf Lodge@Castell Corryn is an attractive site which includes the owner's home and 3 Scandinavian-inspired lodges, Pen-y-Fan, Skirrid and Talybont. The original buildings date back to 1784 and enjoy a lovely south-facing position on the mountain slope, ideal for exploring Sugar Loaf Mountain, the Grwyney Valley, the Black Mountains and the market town of Crickhowell. Sitting amidst beautiful rolling hills and mountains, this is a quiet position yet just a few hundred meters from the small village of Llangenny with its wonderful pub. Crickhowell is just 2 miles away and offers fantastic shopping, coffee shops and eateries whilst Abergavenny boasts a interesting castle with museum and plenty of shops as well as a small cinema.

Pant Y Rhiw

A superbly situated 19th century stone luxury cottage - beautifully converted from three Quarrymen's Cottages; the views are stunning - looking across the mountainside to The Sugar Loaf and Table Mountains with Crickhowell below in the Valley. The cottage is the highest just below the imposing Llangattock Escarpment, great limestone cliffs scarred by quarrying in the nineteenth century. The cottage is situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park within an area of SSI (a national nature reserve) with nesting Peregrine Falcons and increasing numbers of Red Kites and a variety of rare plants.
