Little Isemonger Studio

Little Isemonger Studio is a charmingly converted weatherboarded barn on the outskirts of Tenterden, a delightful market town known as "the Jewel of the Weald". Little Isemonger occupies a commanding site with breathtaking views over the countryside and the Kent & East Sussex Railway line that carries beautifully restored steam engines and historic carriages from the nearby station at Tenterden to Bodiam. Bodiam Castle is a stunningly preserved medieval moated castle on the banks of the River Rother and just one of the many wonderful National Trust properties that can be visited in the area, including Ellen Terry's house and theatre at Smallhythe, Vita Sackville West's gorgeous garden at Sissinghurst Castle and the fairytale gardens at Scotney Castle. Tenterden's wide, tree lined High Street houses a wide choice of bars, restaurants and tea and coffee shops as well as a superb choice of individual and familiar shops. Waypost Meadow Lodge

This sweet little detached cottage is in a great spot - minutes from the popular and historic country town of Cranbrook and also Sissinghurst Castle Garden is very closeby. The wonderful conservatory makes a really superb addition to the living space and you can enjoy watching the gentle herd of alpacas from your easy chair! Children especially enjoy helping with the feeding and also grooming the tiny pony which lives in the next paddock. Remark: May be booked in conjunction with Waypost Meadow Cottage (GB-10173-03).

Pips Barn

The barn is set in a stunning hillside location in the Black Mountains above a peaceful valley. The barn is within the grounds of the owners house but is completely private with the windows and door looking across the fields and from here there is direct access to a footpath. The lane can get icy in winter, please check first. Crickhowell is only 10 minutes drive away (3 miles) where there are many good restaurants and pubs. Llanbedr village with its local pub is within walking distance of the barn. This house is not suitable for children under the age of 7.

Cae`r Hendre

This delightful cottage is situated on the sunny side of the Duffryn Valley and is across the yard from the owners house. Both properties are carefully run on ecological principals, and vegetables, herbs and fruit (in season) can be purchased from owners organic garden. Llangynidr Village containing pubs and shops is 1.5 miles down a quiet lane. There are spectacular walks right from the cottage door leading to the foothills of the Beacons. Pony-trekking available locally.

Pentrebach

Pentrebach Cottage is a traditional stone cottage with a new well built additional wing. The cottage is situated in a very peaceful valley between Llandovery and Halfway on the western side of the National Park, an ideal location for those wishing particularly to be close to the newly designated Fforest Fawr Geopark, the first in Wales. The Forestry Commission have set up the excellent Crychan Forest Trails that also join up with The Eppynt Way, thus giving 65 km. of walking and mountain bike trails. From the cottage there are walks up into the surrounding hills.

FIVE WATERINGS

The county of Kent is known as the ?Garden of England?. It is the English countryside at its best. A landscape of rolling hills, wooded valleys, orchards, hop fields and vineyards. ?Five Waterings? is a modern pinewood house near the Romney Marshes. The house is roomy, fully equipped and suitable for 6 people. The Romney Marshes are on the south coast of England between Folkestone and Winchelsea. The area used to be marshland but has been mainly converted to farmland. Most of the area is below sea level but is protected by sea defences and walls. The Romney Marshes are famous for sheep and smuggling. In earlier times both provided income to the locals. The area is perfect for windsurfers, sailors and other water sports enthusiasts. Most of the beaches are sandy and safe for families.

Malthouse

Escape to this lovely corner of Romney Marsh with sheep and birds for company. Relax and unwind in your own warm, glowing pine log cabin or soak up the sun on your own southerly facing veranda with its open views across fields. Coarse fishing is free to guests on this farm. Attractions in the area: Dungeness, Medieval Rye with its cobbled streets, Hastings, Canterbury, Designer Outlet centre at Ashford, Steam trains - Romney Hythe and Dymchurch miniature Railway, Kent and East Sussex Railway at Tenterden. If you fancy a trip to France then it is easy with Eurotunnel just 26 miles away, or the ferries or a trip to Paris on Eurostar.

Twin Oast Farm House

A lovely, completely private cottage annexed to a converted Oast House, situated near to the village of Icklesham, with wonderful views over rolling countryside to the ancient towns of Winchelsea and Rye. The property is located in a peaceful setting on a 500 acre working sheep farm, with the famous 1066 Country Walk crossing the land. Historic Hastings and picturesque Rye as well as the beautiful coast of South England are a mere five miles away. Ideal cottage for people who like to be in peaceful, rural settings.

Park Wells

A Grade II listed "black and white" hexagonal cottage in the delightful, well kept grounds of the Park Wells House, there are ten acres where visitors can walk; visitors can use the large and well equipped GYM AND HOT TUB all inclusive. The cottage is on two levels on the ground floor is the bedroom with two single beds, below the bedroom are the three original mineral springs, now well insulted with a normal floor. There is a shower room with a good power shower, handbasin and wc. Up stairs to a spacious living room/kitchen with a fitted kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine and a fridge; a dining table and chairs, sofa and chair, and an electric coal effect stove. TV, shared SKY with DVD etc. The views from the cottage over pastoral, over well kept lawns to a duck pond and weeping willow trees and the Original Bath House where the GYM is located. The GYM is very well equipped with a running machine, weights, exercise bike, cross trainer, polarities ball and in a separate private part of the garden is a "HOT TUB" and a wooden cabin dressing room. Visitors using the gym and hot tub do so at their own risk. Remarks: Pets welcome but please be aware the owner has dogs and there are poultry roaming free.

Woodridge Barn

This beautifully converted stone Barn (200 year old) is set up above the Wye valley, with wonderful views and miles of walking straight from the door. Sympathetically re- built using the original Welsh stone, tiles and beams and hand built oak doors. The owners have opted for an "Eco friendly" approach including solar panels, extra thick insulation and highly efficient underfloor heating making this a very warm and comfortable barn for visitors to stay in. Lovely fitted kitchen with granite top shaker style units, ample work and storage space. Double electric oven, LPG 7 ring gas hob. Fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine. Wall mounted TV. Separate utility room houses a washing machine, second fridge and freezer and has drying space for walking gear. Shower room with power shower, toilet and washbasin. Spacious Dining room with antique pine table and chair, lovely warm tiled floor with the efficient under floor heating throughout, and entrance/ French doors lead out to the patio area with the most wonderful views. The sitting room area is comfortably furnished with sofas and has oak floors and a fireplace with woodburning stove providing a focal point and extra warmth if need be. A HOME CINEMA is available for guests to use with a full screen and surround sound, TV with Freesat, DVD, with a selection of DVDs. The owners have left a selection of maps and books about the area and as keen walkers have made a folder of local recommended walks for guests to use.

Porthamel Mill

Porthamel Mill Cottage is reached across a garden path. The cottage is all on one level and is attached to the owners? home, the main Mill House. The original Mill dates back to the 18th century and is situated about half a mile from the road along a farm track in an idyllic location with a lovely very large wilderness garden with paths mown through the grass and woodland to private sitting or picnic areas. There are views across the surrounding woodland garden and fields. Remark: The access road to the Mill is via a long track and this can be muddy in the winter ? so Wellington boots are advisable for opening the field gates in the winter and wet weather.

2 Court Lodge

This cottage enjoys the most incredible location, in stunning countryside on a working farm, and delivers luxurious living accommodation to match. The ground floor rooms have been opened up to create a spacious, light and practical layout - where everyone can relax - whether in front of the open fire or around the dining table. If you tire of the wonderful country views a short drive will take you to Historic Battle and Bexhill-on-Sea is only 6 miles away.

The Meadows

This light and airy modern cottage,is a ten minute walk from the centre of Hay-on-Wye in a quiet development of private houses. The kitchen is fitted with a gas cooker, separate hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and a washing machine. There is a dining table and chairs, a sitting room with a sofa and chairs to comfortably seat four people. TV with DVD. A downstairs cloakroom with handbasin and toilet. Upstairs to three bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a single bed. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and the master bedroom with a double bed and an en suite shower handbasin and toilet. The family bathroom has a bath with hand-held shower over, handbasin and toilet. A safe and enclosed garden behind the cottage with garden furniture and a BBQ.

Pemberton

This newly converted cottage with a modern feel and beautiful oak throughout, originally dates back to the 1600?s when it was originally a Factory. The cottage is centrally located and perfect for browsing the bookshops or for exploring the Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons and the Welsh Marches. There are many restaurants within easy reach, and a traditional country inn nearby. Local outdoor activities are numerous and with the Black Mountains and Wye valley on your doorstep, Hay is the ideal base for a break in this beautiful countryside.

Hayseed

This warm, contemporary, comfortable newly renovated cottage in the centre of Hay on Wye, a great position for browsing the book shops or for getting out to walk in the Black Mountains or along The River Wye that skirts the town. The Globe Art Galley is only a couple of minutes walk down the road where they have Wi-Fi, an exhibition space, hold events and have a very good café.

Winnies Hayloft

Winnies Hayloft sits on the brow of the hill in Bwlch on the road between Brecon and Crickhowell.There are large sky-lights with lovely views across the valley to Llangynidr Mountain and down towards Crickhowell. There is an excellent circular walk starting from Bwlch around Llangorse Lake, the largest lake in South Wales. The River Usk and the canal in Llangynidr village are about 1 mile away.

Herons`s Ghyll

Originally Victorian farm stables, and bull pen which have been beautifully converted into a superb home which provides beautiful accommodation boasting many original features including stable doors and beams that have been incorporated plus the high vaulted ceiling in the spacious living room to add to the charm of this high standard, carpeted and extremely comfortable accommodation. You can visit castles, historic houses, gardens, the Glyndebourne Opera House, good transport links are all nearby. Trains for London are available 10 miles away in Haywards Heath and East Grinstead and from near the property, buses to Brighton and Tunbridge Wells are available (30 minutes drive).

Pen y fan Loft

A delightful studio loft ideal for two people or for a single person who want to walk straight onto the central Brecon Beacons and to be close to Brecon. Pen-y-Fan Loft is accessed through a large carport and up a flight of wooden stairs to the front door. The room is attractive and spacious with a galley kitchen with a four ring electric cooker, with oven, microwave, fridge, toaster etc. A comfortable sofa and a chair and a double bed with very attractive patchwork bed cover, cream carpets and wooden floor boards; the wooden A-Frame beams have been exposed giving a feeling of height to the room. If required there is an extra put-u-up bed for people not wishing to share a double bed. TV with DVD and CD player. The exposed roof beams make this an attractive studio in which to stay with long narrow windows looking out towards Pen-y-Fan and the mountains. The bathroom has a bath with a hand held shower, handbasin and toilet. The garage below provides dry and safe storage for any outdoor activities like mountain bikes or canoes.
