Gardener's Cottage, a delightful holiday property, is located in peace and tranquility in the beautifully landscaped grounds of an ancient beamed Wealden Manor House, dating from the 15th Century and which nestles in 15 acres of paddocks and fields. Situated only a short drive from the village of Staplehurst where there are shops, church, pubs and mainline railway station to London or the coast, this is an excellent location for visiting nearby Sissinghurst Castle and gardens, the exquisite Leeds Castle, Scotney and Bodiam Castle as well as the many other gardens, castles and historic houses which are all within easy reach of this central location in the heart of Kent. There are numerous National Trust properties to enjoy in the locality. Picturesque Cranbrook with its famous Union Windmill, shops, banks, pubs and sports centre and the delightful country town of Tenterden with antique shops, tea-rooms, restaurants, pubs, the Kent & East Sussex steam Railway and Leisure Centre are both a short distance away. Ideal for both sightseeing and shopping are the historic towns of Tunbridge Wells, the Cathedral city of Canterbury and the cinque port of Rye. Gardener's Cottage enjoys privacy at the far end of the Manor House.

Shepherd

Shepherd?s Cottage is an ideal base for walkers and cyclists as Kingston village is on the route of the Elham Valley Way providing long and short walks through ancient woodland, secret byways and unspoilt villages. The cottage is along a quiet single-track lane. Shepherd?s Cottage was formerly the village post office and lies in front of the owners? home. A (little used) red telephone kiosk and post box are located beside the cottage ? a lasting reminder of its former role.

The Little House

This cosy, idyllic cottage is set in the beautiful grounds of the owner's attractive home which was originally the stables and coach house for the country estate. There are four and a half acres of parklands for you to enjoy and relax in - plus free-range eggs from the chickens! This is a real rural retreat with easy access to Historic Canterbury, Dover and Folkestone. The owners offer Yoga classes in a purpose built studio plus a range of holistic therapies including aromatherapy, massage, reiki, reflexology and luxury facial treatments - the perfect addition to a real country holiday experience.

Sunnydowns

Being almost equidistant between Canterbury, Dover and Folkestone, the village of Barham is an ideal centre from which to explore attractive scenery and over 1,000 years of history. Sunnydowns Cottage sits on top of the hill next to the owners Nursery and enjoys panoramic views over the beautiful semi-wooded countryside. You will be spoilt for choice as to which footpath to take and the North Downs Way is on your doorstep.

Sonnet Cottage

Situated in glorious Kentish countryside, excellent for quiet 'getaways', 4 miles from the delightful coastal town of Sandwich where you can find many restaurants, pubs, quaint shops, cinema and famous golf course, this is a delightful tucked away cottage located in a quiet, rural setting. It was once two farmworkers cottages and now it is one spacious comfortable holiday home of a very high standard. Historic Canterbury is a 20 minute drive, Dover only 12 miles. The location offers wonderful walking country, character pubs, local riding and golf. There is parking for a maximum of three cars at the front of the property. Enjoy your holiday in Kent.

Coachmans Cottage

Situated in the heart of the village of Rusthall - close to Tunbridge Wells - is this wonderful grade II listed character cottage in a row of five houses, all formerly providing the accommodation for the five hundred year old coaching inn across the road, which is now the village pub! Remarks: parking on the street; the door to the twin bedroom has a very low door.

Stable Mews

A delightful mews cottage, which was originally the stables of the 18th Century house, in an idyllic prestigious central location in Royal Tunbridge Wells with private parking, and access to nine acres of well tended grounds scattered with mature trees. Located only half a mile from the cottage is the Spa Hotel, which has a pool and gym available for guests use at a small charge. The Tunbridge Wells Golf Club is within a mile of the property. Pool and gym facilities available at nearby Spa Hotel (small charge). There is no private garden but there is access to nine acres of well tended grounds.

Lanary Oast

A superb newly converted Oast House in a peaceful and rural location, yet less than 5 miles from Ashford. Tucked away at the rear of the owners' grounds with separate drive and gardens, this excellent holiday home has something for everyone. This is wonderful walking country with many footpaths leading to the Saxon Shore Way; local pubs are in Bilsington ( 1.5 miles) and another 1 mile distant. An ideal location for visiting the many castles, gardens, historic houses, National Trust properties as well as zoos and family attractions and only a 1 hour journey to London from Ashford by train (and very close to the Eurotunnel terminal). This lovely holiday home enjoys maximum sunshine from all angles and has pleasant views to the surrounding fields. The grounds are laid to lawn with hedges and some trees at the perimeters. On your arrival you will receive a welcome package.

Pebblesea

Pebblesea is located in the very heart of the old town of Whitstable. This recently built 3-storey terraced cottage, constructed in traditional style of brick with white weather-boarding, is part of a small gated development of similar cottages designed to retain the style of old Whitstable. There are sea views from most of the principal rooms and this very attractive property is ideally positioned for the seashore; a short footpath leads directly to the beach, whilst the many and varied facilities of the town are also almost on the doorstep.

Teal

Teal Cottage is an appealing terraced cottage in a quiet street in the heart of old Whitstable. Ideal for those without a car as only a few minutes walk to the beach and all the amenities in this popular town. The cottage is built in the traditional style very typical of this lovely seaside town and has recently been renovated and very thoughtfully furnished in a simple but stylish décor with light, airy rooms and ceilings that are unusually high for such an old cottage. Downstairs, the painted wooden floors continue the simple uncluttered style.

Umballa

This Victorian, semi-detached, 3 bedroom house has direct access to the beach making it a wonderful home for a family seaside holiday. Passed down through the family for several generations, Umballa has been lovingly cared for and restored by the owner. During 2006, Umballa underwent extensive renovation whilst maintaining the style in-keeping with its traditional origins. This restoration work has further enhanced an already impressive home. Iluka

This semi-detached seafront home (on the right) looks straight out to sea from across the path and shingle/sand beach offering a grandstand view of the spectacular local sunsets. Of considerable character and stylishly furnished and well equipped, this extensively renovated single storey holiday house is approached by a flight of steps from the roadway at the top of the beach and has polished wood floors and attractive rugs throughout.

Little Hampton

Little Hampton is a spacious detached three bedroom bungalow with direct access to the beach, an off-road parking space and a suntrap rear patio and terraced garden. It is perfect for a family seaside holiday and welcomes pets.It is located near Hampton Pier on the western side of Herne Bay and it is a pleasant walk along the sea-front path to the centre of Herne Bay for shops, cinema, restaurants, theatre and various sporting facilities.

Overstrand

This newly refurbished character semi-detached holiday home has direct access to the beach. A picture window provides panoramic sea / beach views particularly of the spectacular local sunsets. Overstrand is located facing the sea above a path and the beach. The town offers a wide range of facilities, many are within walking distance. Notes: Overstrand is reached by a short flight of steps from the sea-front path.

The Retreat

A beautiful spacious ground floor apartment in a large 17th Century country house located near the village of Pandy to the north of Abergavenny. The modern wooden kitchen is complete with fridge, freezer, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, electric oven, hob and microwave. The living area has a modern style electric fire and comfortable sofa's - one of which is a useful sofa-bed, Sky Freeview TVand DVD. The wet room style bathroom has a large shower area, bath,toilet and washbasin. There is a comfortable double well appointed bedroom. Remarks: Own water supply from a mountain spring. It should be noted that the property is accessed via a shared bumpy driveway which is manageable in a standard car if taken slowly. There is parking for 2 cars.

Birch Tree

Birch Tree Barn has recently been completely renovated and turned into a very light, comfortable and warm cottage with windows on three sides looking out over the meadows and to the Black Mountains. This recently converted Barn, with its wood lap walls, is reached up exterior wood steps and is open plan with a large living area with oak floors throughout, exposed beams in the A frame ceiling, leather sofas and chairs, large picture windows on three sides to take advantage of the lovely views, a wall mounted flat screen digital TV with DVD and Wi-fi. The kitchen area is well designed with a gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher coffee maker etc., a dining table and chairs. Downstairs there is a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer and another shower and toilet. There is also a TABLE FOOTBALL and BASKET BALL for children. The Master bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has twin beds. The two bedrooms are well carpeted and painted in a lovely restful Farrow and Ball colour called ?Elephant Breath?. The bathroom is well designed with a bath with a rose-head shower over, handbasin and toilet. Remarks: Welcome pack on arrival will contain free range eggs (hens willing) from the hens that are roaming in the owners? garden. There is a garden beside the cottage with a couple of fruit trees and lawn, garden furniture and a BBQ. Ample parking. Beautiful river walks, within 10 minutes walk of the barn and Cyclists and Walker Friendly Visit Wales award ? offering secure bike storage and a pressure spray washer, and located close to the cycle route 42. They also offer escorted mountain bike tours for all abilities by arrangement. Recycling facilities.

Bryn Cain Coach House

A delightful two bedroom converted Coach House in the grounds of Bryn Cain Farm at Penpergwym near Abergavenny. An ideal location to enjoy fine dining at The Hardwick Restaurant, Welsh Restaurant of the Year 2008, run by Stephen Terry the Michelin Starred chef/restaurateur and winner of the BBC Great British Menus is within walking distance on a summer?s evening. The award winning 'The Foxhunter' run by celebrity chef Matt Tebbutt is 5 minutes drive away, The Bell at Skenfrith, and the Walnut Tree amongst others. A hearty meal can be walked off on many of the local Black Mountain routes or a 25 minutes drive takes you to the heart of the Brecon Beacons. This is an excellent area steeped in history ie the world Heritage site at the Big Pit, Castles, the canal and the walks along it and the river walks, it is near the Golden Valley, Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons. From the cottage there is easy road access down to the Welsh Valleys.

Cwmdu Court

This charming and well-kept Welsh stone cottage in a courtyard setting was built in the early 1980's on the site of an apple orchard. The kitchen has a four ring electric cooker, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, washing machine, kitchen table and chairs. A handbasin andtoilet downstairs. The sitting room has sofa and chairs, a woodburning stove, electric storage heaters and French windows out to the garden. CD and radio. Sorry no TV (owners preference) Upstairs to two very pretty bedrooms both with lovely views in both directions across to the mountains, both bedrooms have double beds. The bathroom with has a bath with a shower over, handbasin and toilet. Remarks: Poor mobile telephone reception, a land line is available. Parking for one car, a further car can be parked on the lane.Garage with storage for mountain bikes etc. logs etc. Behind the cottage is a small pretty garden with a lawn, patio table and chairs and a BBQ.

Bothy

Spacious comfortable cottage in a village setting. The cottage has lovely views across to the Table Mountain with its Iron Age fortress and the Black Mountains, and is ideally suited to those wishing to be within walking distance of a village and excellent places to eat. There is easy access on to the mountains for walking in the Black Mountains. This delightful converted barn nestles beside a 12th century Norman Church and the Village Farm House. Is only 100 meters from the Old Rectory 9 Hole golf Course.
