Bred by Lubera, Lady Sun is virtually thornless on its fruit-bearing branches - so you won't get hurt when you pick the delicious gooseberries! It has a strong upright habit, and shows good resistance to American powdery mildew, producing good crops of sweet-tasting, juicy berries with a delightful aroma and thin skins. Plants will grow well in most soils, either in the garden or in a container on the patio. Crops from early July. Supplied in a 13cm pot. Preparation for Planting: Plant 1.5m (5') apart with 1.8m (6') between rows.
