Kiwi (Hardy) 1 plant
Kiwi (Hardy) 1 plant
Grape-sized, yellow-green fruits with very thin 'fuzzless' skins are produced in ‘September’ and ‘October’ on vigorous twining stems. With a flavour that is generally sweeter than regular varieties, these unusual fruits are delicious eaten whole and don’t even need to be peeled! This hardy Tara vine is self fertile, so you can grow it alone, without the need for a male pollinating plant. Height: 7m (22’). Spread: 5m (16’).

Kiwi 39;Hayward 39; and 39;Tomuri 39; 2 plants 1 of each variety
One of the best traditional varieties to grow in the UK! Kiwi ‘Hayward’ flowers later in the season and produces a heavy crop of large fruits with a superb flavour. Kiwi ‘Hayward’ is a self sterile female plant so it must be planted next to a male plant to provide pollen and produce fruit. We recommend planting Kiwi ‘Tomuri’ as a male plant. This vigorous male will not produce fruit but makes an attractive feature with its heart shaped leaves and large creamy white flowers which will aid pollination of ‘Hayward’. Height: 9m (29’). Spread: 5m (16’).
