A frost-hardy ball head/primo type cabbage which matures April-May (before spring planted primos) extending the picking season. The solid, uniform heads are particularly sweet-tasting. For cutting in spring (36 weeks from sowing). Full growing instructions on packet. Set the resultant plants in rows 38cm (15") apart, with 30cm (12") between plants, during September and October. HEALTH BENEFITS: Antioxidant. Good source of vitamin C. COOKING HINTS: Try to use all healthy outer leaves as these darker green leaves contain most nutrients.Plant herb Garlic Chives amongst your cabbages as this has been shown to deter cabbage root fly.
