It has great facilities - the fabulous new outdoor pool and unique canoeing pond have added focus to the village summer to complement the gondola lift that runs 3 days weekly, and the old village centre. Recently renovated on the 2 floors above the dutch owner's own holiday appartment, its 5 bedrooms sleep up to 10 people in comfort. Masses to see in the area - UNESCO protected lakeside Halstatt, with its macabre ossuary and salt mine is an absolute must. 10 minutes further on is the lift to the Dachstein caves - one full of ice, the other full of stalagmites. Picturesque Lake Gosau, the spa and casino town of Bad Ischl, Lake Wolfgang, Salzburg are all easily accessible. A wonderful area.
